DT Spotlight ~ Larelyn

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Larelyn from Handmade from My Heart.

Today I'm sharing my December spotlight project using Snow Penguin.

I just love this cute image!  I die cut the octagon from the mat and added dimensional tape to pop the layer up on the card base.  Then I flipped the cut out over and popped the image on it before adding it back into the mat.  I used Copic markers to color the image and added some sparkle to the pom poms and snowball using Stickles Frosted Lace.

This is my final spotlight for Kitty Bee Designs.  I have loved sharing all of these fabulous images and am so thankful to Kel for allowing me to be a member of the design team.

DT Spotlight - Tammy

Hello All of you!  Happy November! Can you believe we are just a hop, skip and a jump away from Christmas!  Here in Calgary, we are definitely in winter...we have lots of snow and that is why I though this little guy would be perfect for my spotlight this month.

It's Snow Penguin!  You can find him in the shop here !

I went with a shaker card for this one! I just love making them and I actually had a lot of these fun snowflake fillers to use up!  I colored my penguin with copics and I also did some paper piecing as well.  The DP is from Crate Paper's Snow Day which I think is just adorable.  I added a glitter border around my shaker just to give it a bit of sparkle. The little sentiment is from Fancy Pants, which I have had forever!  I hope you like it and I hope that we will see you on the blog playing in our challenges...pick up this little guy! I'd love to see what you do with him! 

DT Spotlight - Wendy

Hi everyone, it's Wendy here with a cute Christmas card featuring Snow Penguin from the Kitty Bee Etsy store.  I made him up into a snow globe using a set of dies and a plastic cup, designed to work with the dies, making filling the shaker card very simple.  I filled mine with glass glitter and sequins.

Aloha guys! Cely here and its my turn in the spotlight this month! I'm using the digi called Snow Penguin! Isn't he cute??? Inked him up with Copics.  I used Stampin Up card stock, rhinestones, paper, and punches.  Also added some red cord. I love how you don't need a lot to make your projects cute when you use Kitty Bee Designs images! The penguin just makes it so CUTE!

DT Spotlight - Julie

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Julie of I Made A Card!

Woop woop it's nearly Christmas - well it's only 5 months away so I thought I'd break out my Christmas paper box.  And to start off this year's Christmas fun I've used my favourite image from last year.

I love this penguin - it's so useful, and easy to colour.  But I also like that he is a bit cheeky, stood there with his snowball ready to throw it at some unsuspecting person - hence the naughty / nice!
