DT Spotlight - Jennifer

Good morning friends, Jennifer from Glitter In My Hair here with you on the KBD blog with this SOARING OWL! He looks so contented on his branch, I just want to grab him and squeezeeeee!

As you can see he's high in the tree tops surveying his domain. I used dies from Lawn Fawn and Gina Marie, and some Nuvo drops on the clouds as well. He's tons of fun and SO versatile! My favorite thing about Kitty Bee Designs images - they are so sweet...what's not to love for all occasions?!

Hello Kitty Bee friends,

I coloured the image using Lyra pencils and Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen and then added some glossy accent to the little star. For embellishment I used some star foil confetti that I had left over from my son's birthday. I really like how this card turned out.

More details about this project on my blog http://sasayakiglitter.weebly.com/blog

What a beautiful doily circle mat on this card!!    And those stars are just amazing too!!  Make sure you swing by her blog and see her other wonderful creations!

DT Spotlight - Wendy

Todayʻs spotlight is brought to us by Wendy from Confessions of a Papersniffer!!

Hi there, it's Wendy here from Confessions of a Papersniffer, with my first Kitty Bee DT card!
I've gone with a romantic theme, making a card suitable for Valentine's Day or an anniversary, using this super cute digi called Kawaii Owl Buddies, from the Kitty Bee store.  I've coloured them with Spectrum Noir pencils, then fussy cut them and stuck them to the background with foam pads.
The background was created with an embossing folder, a foliage stamp and a variety of Distress Inks, along with a stamped sentiment, a die cut branch and a little punched heart.
For more details and pics, you can visit my blog!

Love the soft palette on this card and the beautiful scene she created!  Make sure you swing by her blog and see her other wonderful creations!

DT Spotlight - Leanne

Today's spotlight is from Leanne of  Finding my Groove!

Hellooo Kitty Bee Designs friends & family!

Happy first Monday of June everyone!!  It's Leanne and for my June spotlight I have a fun graduation card to share. When I think of June I think of graduations and the many types of cards you can make for just this occasion.  Going with a CAS concept I printed off Kawaii Hug Me Owl colored him up and added a cute cap.  Yes, I could have picked any other image from the Etsy shop, but I think this owl looks very wise and with that graduation cap very distinguished.  I went a bit non-traditional for a graduation card by using gold and white washi paper.  I don't think I would think twice about giving this to a boy or girl, elementary or high school graduate.  Even possibly a college graduate.  Definitely works for all.

If you're looking for more images to transform for graduation or that special occasion all you need to do is head on over to the Etsy shop to get started!  Happy crafting!!

Happy June!!

That washi paper is just amazing.  And what a beautiful sentiment!!  Make sure you swing by Leanne's blog and see what else she's up to!!

DT Spotlight - Leanne

Hello!

Say hello again to Frankin Owl.  I tried to go for a spooky scene in honor of Halloween.  I printed out quite a few of this adorable image as well as the MIC background.  I used Copics and Distress inks again.  Had fun with the scene.  This time I printed out Frankin owl fussy cut him and adhered him to the fence.  Matted the scene on to black cardstock and some orange cardstock then all on to a kraft card.  Pretty easy.

Hopefully you took advantage of the awesome sale from last month and picked up this guy along with all the other adorable images illustrated by Kitty Bee Designs owner, Ruth Johnson.  She's truly awesome!!  If you didn't no worries, head on over to the shop to pick him up along with any of the other cool images and add them to your collection.

Thanks for stopping by!

DT Spotlight - Cely

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Cely of Hawaii Paper Party!

Aloha guys! Cely here and its my turn in the spotlight this month! Figured I'd start getting ready for Christmas since I'm always behind every year! I used the image called Santa Owl. Isn't he so cute? I printed a bunch of him on one sheet of blending card and colored them all in with Copics.  I used all Stampin Up products to make the tags.  I punched him out with a 2.5" circle punch and popped them up on tags I made with the SU tag topper punch and some retired Gumball Green cardstock.  I stamped the Merry Christmas on some Crumb Cake and banner cut the edges.  I also stamped a "to: from:" and added Cherry Cobbler twine!

Super easy to do and now I have at least 9 tags for large Christmas presents!

Hope you enjoyed my spotlight! To visit me and see more of my work, visit HawaiiPaperParty.blogspot.com

Cely these tags are just too cute!  I love how simple they are!  Great job!  Make sure you swing by Cely's blog and see what other goodies she's made!!
