DT Spotlight - Karen

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Karen of Simply Frenzied!

For my first Kitty Bee SPOTLIGHT card, I created a Valentine card using this adorable Bumble Bee from the Bumble Bee Set #1 and the "Bee mine" sentiment.
One of my favorite color combo's is Pink and Black, which works well for a Valentine card.
I framed the Bumble Bee using a die from My Favorite Things, and added die cut hearts for additional pop of color.

Love the pink and black color combo on this one... just too cute!!  Make sure you swing by Karen's blog and say hello!

DT Spotlight - Shelly

Todayʻs spotlight is brought to us by Shelly from Little Megs Cards!

Hi there everyone it's Shelly up on the blog today with my first spotlight post for Kitty Bee Design and I'm really excited to be working with these fab images!

As Valentine's Day is approaching fast, I thought I would make a card using the cute iHeart Bun digi who is available to buy here.  I like to use lots of layers on my cards as you will come to find out and this card is no exception!  I've coloured him in with Copics and mounted him on my card using foam pads for extra dimension.

I've added lots of little details to my layers, including some faux stitching and some teeny tiny die cut hearts.

For more details on how I made my card you can pop over to my blog.

Have a great day everyone

Shelly

This is just adorable!  I love all the layers on here!!  Make sure you stop by Shelly's Blog and say hello!!

DT Spotlight - Lena

Today's spotlight is brought to us by Lena of Lena Pysslar!!

Happy New Year! Yes, a bit late but it's only January and this is my first spotlight for 2016.

I use the adorable "iHeart You Bun" and made a very CAS card with light pink tissue paper that I only glued in the center. The reason is that I wanted the edges to "float" and make the card kind of light and dreamy. Valentine's  is on the way  <3

Love the soft colors in this card and the doily and sequins are just perfect!! Please make sure you swing by Lena's blog and say hello!!

DT Spotlight - Wendy

Todayʻs spotlight is brought to us by Wendy from Confessions of a Papersniffer!!

Hi there, it's Wendy here from Confessions of a Papersniffer, with my first Kitty Bee DT card!
I've gone with a romantic theme, making a card suitable for Valentine's Day or an anniversary, using this super cute digi called Kawaii Owl Buddies, from the Kitty Bee store.  I've coloured them with Spectrum Noir pencils, then fussy cut them and stuck them to the background with foam pads.
The background was created with an embossing folder, a foliage stamp and a variety of Distress Inks, along with a stamped sentiment, a die cut branch and a little punched heart.
For more details and pics, you can visit my blog!

Love the soft palette on this card and the beautiful scene she created!  Make sure you swing by her blog and see her other wonderful creations!

DT Spotlight - Jennifer

Good morning friends, Jennifer from Glitter In My Hair here with you on the KBD blog sharing some Kitty Bee lovies with you today! Can you believe it's 2016? Yikes! Where on Earth has the time gone?!

I love these Chinese New Year images from KBD. This is the year of the dragon (that's me that's me!). He's so cute! I decided since the Chinese New Year is coming up quickly as well, that I'd use this wonderful little guy for my spotlight card this month.

I printed this little sweetie and colored with Copics. Cut out with a pierced circle die and used a sketch for the card. I made the sentiment background AGES ago using a technique called emboss resist. The colors went so well I dug it out for this card today. Lots of bling and sparkle, as you've probably come to expect from me! Full details are on my blog for those who are interested. Here's hoping that all my stamping beauties out there have a lovely week. Stay warm...it IS January, and here in the Midwest winter finally arrived a few days after Christmas so it's COLD and SNOWY (although it *was* 50 degrees on Christmas...).

See you next month for more Kitty Bee Designs inspiration! I hope your year is off to a great start!

Ooh look at those colors... what an absolutely amazing card!  Make sure you stop by Jennifer's blog and say hello!!
