DT Spotlight - Marcia

Happy Tuesday!  Marcia here from The Frolicking Fairy with my monthly Kitty Bee Designs spotlight post, using Smile! Panda.  I wanted to use sunny colors for his shirt and camera, adding a nice ombre blue background (hello complementary colors!).  For even more interest, I spritzed on Altenew's Iridescent Shimmer Ink Spray and used a white gel pen to fill in the word "FAVORITE".

 

Sentiments are both from Ink Road Stamps--top stamped in Catherine Pooler gray, bottom in VersaFine Onyx Black.

Hello Kitty Bee friends,

I am here today to share with you, my latest project for Kitty Bee Designs.
For this project I used this adorable image called "Flower Pot Bun"

I coloured this image using my Copics then added some Wink of stella clear glitter pen to the pot and the flower. I used some glossy accent on the nose and eyes of this bunny. 

Also to add a little bit more texture and details I used my white gel pen.

The sentiment is a clear stamp from my stash.

DT Spotlight - Marcia

Hello all, Marcia here from The Frolicking Fairy.  My sweet little family has been seriously afflicted with these respiratory viruses around.  So, when it came time to create my Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight blog this month, I instantly saw the cutie Ramen Kitty eating, well, chicken noodle soup.

 

I colored up that sick little guy with Copic markers, making sure to add a nice flush to his cheeks and lightly on his nose, then layered a piece of torn cardstock over my clean card base.  The medicine bottles were stamped in grey and both the bottles and sentiment are from My Favorite Things.  My family is finally recovering, and I hope you and yours remain healthy too!

Just Cannot Bear

Hey Friends.  It's EK from ekgorman designs and I am sneaking in today to share this winter card featuring the Cutie Bunny stamp. 

I created a video sharing how I not only colored the image up and then how I created the winter background.

Hello!  Marcia here from The Frolicking Fairy sharing my monthly Kitty Bee Designs Spotlight post using this adorable Winter Mitts Panda.

I added soft blue to his hat, scarf, and mittens, keeping the colors soft and cool.  Since I am amassing a pile of holiday cards, I thought a tag would be fun.  Nuvo drops in light blue were dotted on the background, adding extra snowflakes and dimension.  While you can't see in this photo, shimmer pen was brushed onto the holly berries, the fluff of his hat, and on the snowy ground.  A festive addition to any gift this holiday!  Until next time, stay warm and cozy!  xo

DT Spotlight - Jessica

Hello friends!

It's Designer Jess here today with my November Designer Spotlight!

I used the "Get Well Soon 1 Panda" stamp to make this super cute card! I only added a bit of shading to the image using Prismacolor Pencils, and then fussy cut him out.  A bit of trim & ribbon plus a cute sentiment finished off the card.

Happy Forth Of July to all our American Friends

I thought it might be fun today to play around with some fireworks, and then I remembered that my furry little pup would spend the night hiding from all the big bangs.  So instead of lighting up the real thing, I just pulled out my copics and created my own pet friendly fireworks.

To create this card I pulled out the Kitty Bee Designs digital image Peek a Boo Pup.  In fact, this sweet little pup is exactly what my little pup will look like tonight.

Hello Crafty People!  Ek here from ekgorman designs, and I am bringing a slightly different card (for me) to the blog today.

Normally, I color my backgrounds with my markers or colored pencils, but today, I am playing with some oxides along with the super cute digi Emilee the Elephant.

I colored Emilee today with my copics, and then layered Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, and Seedless Preserves Distressed Oxides.

I wanted to find a different use for this cute little cow instead of a baby card. I had made this galaxy background with Brusho's a while back, and thought it would be perfect for a cow jumping the moon. And I love the sentiment with this image!

Hello friends!  EK here from ekgorman designs  I am coming in today to share a card I made using (gasp) both colored pencils and alcohol markers.

For this card, I used the oh so cut Super Star Bunny digi stamp from the Kitty Bee Designs Shop.  For the Bunny, I colored him (or her) in with some colored pencils.  The background got colored in with my copic markers.

WOW!! I can't believe it's already December!
where did the time fly?!?

Hey everyone!!!  It's Ek from ekgorman designs here to share my card featuring KBD's Kawaii Good Night Owl.

I colored the digital stamp in with my colored pencils and created a background using alcohol ink and yupo paper.

I love this digital stamp because it is so versatile.  It could be used for a baby card, a winter night scene, or as I've done here a space card sent just because.

Hello! Today is my Spotlight day at Kitty Bee Designs, and I want to share with you this adorable image, from the Etsy store-

 For some reason, the paper reminded me of old fashioned fabric and sewing, so I put Sewing Kit on as the image. I know I've had friends bail me out of sewing problems, and this is going to one friend who has been guiding me through a quilt!

I do have a tip if you use a Copic marker and compressor for the background and end up with noticiable white areas around your image-use a matching colored pencil to lightly color in the edges!
